Mount Cook National Park is home to New Zealand’s tallest mountain and some of the most jaw-dropping scenery in the country. Sitting right in the center of the South Island, it’s easy to get to and an absolute must on any New Zealand itinerary. I’ve hiked to glaciers, picnicked beside icebergs, and even flown over stunning snow-capped peaks—but no matter how many times I visit, it still blows me away.
